Bedlam Records talking about the Journeyman. Music: DUI – Those Wankers feat. fabsn

What would you say if someone offers you to be 20 again for 2 months?
HellYeah! That’s what I’d say.

In fact it was just about a month that I was hanging out with the young fellas from Bedlam Records. I’m not gonna tell the whole inside story of me being 20 again but try to imagine wild².

The video above ended in an accidental photoshoot for the DJ Collective Those Wankers and I didn’t want to deprive you from the “behind the scenes” material. The music in the background is a song called DUI and it’s a cooperation between me and one of Those Wankers. One of the days I was hanging out with Tom in the recording studio and we decided to write a cheesy electronic popsong. I will post the whole song after they released their ep in fall.

If you followed my last articles you know that Australia made me struggle. I never thought it would be so hard to find a job in which I offer to work for almost free. In the end I didn’t even ask for food and accommodation, I only asked for “a nice dinner” for a photoshooting. Bedlam in the end was the Jackpot where I had my own room most of the time and everyday nice people around that shared the same interests.

Although in the end I didn’t do as much as I wanted to but what can you say. I know how it is to be 20 and I did most of the stuff they do today minus running a business, the record studio and music label. I couldn’t have more respect.

I did another Photoshooting for the Bedlam Apparel snapbacks together with Jack aka Junkyard Willy who is the other half of Those Wankers. If you like the snapbacks and feel like buying one of them or one of the Bedlam shirts, check the store.

The other day we went to the fortitude valley to give away some Bedlam shirts to homeless people and ask them to model for us. We only found gangs and couldn’t really convince them to pose but they definitely liked the shirts and that was almost good enough to see.

The main work for Bedlam though was the creation of a new corporate structure. When they started everything was Bedlam Records so we came up with the idea to create a collective that unites the three existing categories and reserves space for upcoming projects to be added. Bedlam Collective consists at the moment of the three subfunctions Bedlam Records ( music label ), Bedlam Studios ( Recording Studio ) and Bedlam Apparel ( fashion line ) that will be running hot by the beginning of next year. Most important, besides the graphical work on the identity such as Logo redesign, was the redesign of the Bedlam Records website which was mainly a blog before.
